U8 team finished their first tag tournament undefeated!
Berlin Irish Youth hosted the first BIRFC U8 Tag Tournament at Turngemeinde in Berlin facilities on the 23rd of April.
Five teams took part, including guests from Veltener RC, Rugby Union Hohen Neuendorf (two teams) and Rugby Potsdam. The kids of Berlin Irish showed the skills they had been working on for the past few months, scoring lots of tries and ending the day undefeated, with three wins and one draw. There was some great attacking rugby on display. Very good performances from all involved!
Many thanks to the great support from our men’s team, who sent down referees and organisational helpers. It was much appreciated.
The kids have their next tournament on the 7th of May in Hohen Neuendorf, home of Rugby Union.
